Tracked Signals

Five signals can make a channel's record

A channel's record can rest on a handful of trades. We took every channel that made money for a follower and removed its five best signals.

What we did

Of the 131 channels we judged, 36 made money for a follower over their whole record. For each, we took away its five best signals and added up the rest, at the same follower prices.

What it showed

For 22 of 36, those five signals were more than half of the whole profit. 16 would have lost money without them.

Five trades out of hundreds is easy to get by luck. A follower who joined a week late, or missed one evening, could have missed them and had a losing year.

How we tell skill from luck

That is why no channel is judged on its total alone. Every channel is also compared with random entries on the same side at the same times, which shows how often chance alone does as well, and its history is split in two halves that both have to hold up. See how we measure.

Check a channel yourself

Look at the biggest wins a channel advertises. If its claimed total would disappear without three or four of them, the record is fragile, however good the total looks. Members see this check for every channel.
